DealDesk privacy policy
DealDesk sets up new real-estate listings for the listing teams that use it. A team's admin invites its members; nobody else can sign in.
Google account data
- Sign-in (
openid, email, profile): DealDesk reads your name and email address to identify you and check that you were invited to a team. - Google Drive (
drive.file): when a team admin connects Google Drive, DealDesk can open only the folder and files that person picks in the Google Picker and the files DealDesk creates. It creates each deal's folder, a copy of the team's Listing Plan, the filled listing documents and a row in the team's deal tracker. It cannot see any other file in the Drive.
DealDesk uses Google data only to do these things for the team that connected it. It does not sell Google data, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone else, except as listed under "Other services" below. DealDesk's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Deal information
DealDesk stores the listing messages a team sends it (from Slack, forwarded email or the web form) and the details read from them: property, sellers, price and dates. Each team sees only its own deals.
Other services
- Anthropic's Claude API reads each listing message to pull out the deal details.
- Dropbox and Slack, when a team connects them, receive the deal folders and messages that team asked for.
- Railway hosts the server and its database.
Storage and deletion
Access tokens for connected accounts are stored encrypted. A team admin can disconnect an account on the Accounts page at any time; you can also remove DealDesk's access at myaccount.google.com/permissions. To delete a team's data, its admin deletes the team's deals in DealDesk, or writes to the address below.
